Our new contest with 80's Purple has started! Click here for all the details!

Summer Lovin' Havin' a Blast

The residents of Los Angeles are an interesting breed. We take everyday activities and add our own fabulous twist, because the world is our runway. Summer is no exception to this, so we sit poolside while donning jewelry and glossed lips. Check out more sneak peeks from Han Cholo's upcoming lookbook, which show that the ladies of LA rock more than just Daisy Dukes with bikinis on top.

Bienvenido a MIAMI!

Donna recently headed down to Miami and represented Team Han Cholo at Fashion Week, with no shortage of bling. LA and Miami collided as Han Cholo was featured in the gifting suite, while models rocked our pieces on the runway.

A very special thanks to Josue Rafuls, Joshua Ribadeo, and Mod Media for the photos.

Piece of the Week: Bobo owl pendant

Released in 2007, Han Cholo’s Bobo owl pendant is a statement piece for your wardrobe, whether or not it consists of a toga. Similar to the Lioness/Lazarus rings, the pendant was inspired by another 1980’s icon, Bubo the golden owl from the 1981 film, “Clash of the Titans.” In the movie, Bubo is a brass and iron replica of the goddess Athena’s magical owl. She gives Bubo to Perseus to become his trusty sidekick. Since it’s available in silver, as well as two-tone gold, gunmetal, and rose gold, there’s something for you and all of your loyal sidekicks. You won’t need an invisibility helmet when you rock the Bobo, because whether you’re a mortal or a goddess, you’re guaranteed to look divine.

Comic HAN

This past weekend, San Diego once again attracted swarms of comic aficionados and Seth Cohen look-a-likes, as it hosted the 41st Comic Con. Sadly, after much speculation and anticipation, Daft Punk wasn't there to perform their songs off the "Tron" soundtrack. Despite this no-show, eight minutes of the film were shown, while various Tron collaborations were showcased...including Han Cholo x Tron pendants and belt buckles. Other collaborations included Adidas, Oakley, Burton, and Hurley. Brandon represented Team Han Cholo and experienced all the Comic Con action firsthand, while also running into Danny DeVito.

Sneak peek of some Tron Cholo pieces...more coming soon!

RZA rocks Han Cholo

Wu-Tang Clan may be rocking the bells this summer, but check out RZA showing Han Cholo some love by rocking our rings. RZA and Brandon met through their mutual friend Shavo, bass player of System of a Down. Some of his pieces include the Lazarus, Indian Chief Skull, Future Human, and most notably his custom gold and diamond Wu-Tang ring.

Piece of the Week: Lioness/Lazarus rings

New for Han Cholo’s Spring 2010 collection are the Lioness and Lazarus rings for her and him, respectively. As seen on our post about our Bloc 28 line with Disney, we’re no strangers to taking a childhood icon and adding a unique twist. Available in gold, silver, and gunmetal, these rings pay homage to the Japanese cartoon, “Voltron,” a childhood favorite of co-founder, Brandon Schoolhouse. So whether you travel to a universe near or far, rock these rings and you’ll be the defender of all that is stylish.

Available online at Karmaloop and Revolve Clothing
